Richard M. Cogen, Executive Director

Co-founder Ohio River Foundation. Mr. Cogen was formerly an assistant city solicitor with the City of Cincinnati, specializing in environmental law. Mr. Cogen received his J.D. from

Benjamin N. Cardozo Law School and his Masters in Environmental Law from Pace University. He has a B.S. in biology from the State University of New York at Albany.

Erin Crowley, Education Director

Prior to arriving at ORF Erin was an educator with the Maine Stream Team Program and a consultant with the Presumpscot River Watershed Coalition. Erin received a B.S. in Geology from MIT, and an M.E. in Hydrology from the University of Utah. She brings a wealth of experience in watershed education and outreach, including classroom and field presentations, volunteer stream surveying, web design, and installation of stormwater controls including rain gardens.

Sara Ernst, Rain Gardens Program Manager

Most recently, Sara was a naturalist with Hamilton County Park District. Her botany experience and environmental education dates back several years with stints in PA, FL, and a

two-year job as a Peace Corps volunteeer in El Salvador teaching Agro-forestry and environmental education. She has a B.S. in Botany from Miami University, OH.
