AVEDA Corporation Selects ORF as 2008 Partner

for Monthlong Celebration of Earth Day

The Aveda Corporation has again selected Ohio River Foundation as its 2008 Earth Month Partner for Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Participating salons, institutes, and other Aveda facilities will have events during the month of April and donate a portion of revenue from these events to Ohio River Foundation. Customers may also donate funds directly to ORF at these events.

Rich Cogen, ORF Executive Director, commented on the selection,"We are extremely honored to be selected again by Aveda as an Earth Month partner. Aveda is a key reason why we are being so successful in launching our Green Initiatives program. Their dedication to corporate environmental stewardship and responsibility is also a model that we hope other companies will strive to emulate."
